I don't believe in horoscopes but this one today seems too good to be true.
"Today a small sacrifice on your part might be called for. Letting something leave your life so you can make room for something to come in to your life is a difficult choice to make — after all, how can you be certain that what is coming will be better than what is leaving? Rely on your faith in the people involved, and trust that they know what is best in this situation. If all else fails, just remember that moving forward is better than standing still".
I could have been dead a year ago. What transpired is still clear in my mind until this time and it will remain in me as long as I live.
The time is around three in the morning of a Sunday. I just came from a chinese new year celebration at a friend's house in Manila. I was on my way home. Another friend dropped me in Ayala-Edsa where I took a bus going to Baclaran. Right after taking-off the bus, four strangers mobbed and dragged me in a dark corner. For some minutes, my life was placed in the hands of humans possesed with evil spirits. They left me with a lost wallet, some bruises and small wounds (probably caused by a knife pointed at my back).
Fortunately, my guardian angel was still at my side. I still had my cellphone, bag and some amount of money in my pocket. Best of all, I still have my life to live with.
Recently, I encountered an extra-ordinary book through a very close friend's friend. The book's title is "Hope for the Flowers" by Trina Paulus. It is one of those books that you can read from cover to cover in less than an hour. What makes it different is the message that will leave a mark in you to discover your purpose. With its very simple story, a complex idea can be resolved.
This is just based on my personal experience towards this book. You may try it to believe.
“I can’t think of any one reason why I want to be a surgeon… but I can think of a thousand reasons why I should quit.”
“At some point, you have to make a decision. Boundaries don’t keep other people out. They fence you in. Life is messy. That’s how we’re made. So you can mess your life drawing lines… or you can live your life crossing them. But there are some lines that are way too dangerous to cross. Here is what I know… If you’re willing to take the chance… the view from the other side … is spectacular.”
