my kind of nilaga

Wednesday, July 16, 2008

One of the easiest meal that I can cook and love to eat is a pork nilaga.  I prefer having the rib part because the bone provides additional flavor to the broth.  Here is how I do it.

In a pot, put the pork ribs, medium size onion (sliced), salt, pepper and water.  Boil and simmer until the meat becomes soft and tender.  Add slices of potatoes and wait until it softens.  Add pechay leaves and simmer for one minute.

That’s my kind of nilaga. Chow!
