At last! I finally had my DSL connection installed! Double Yahoo-Yahoo! The agonizing and slow dial-up connection is now over. Worse thing is the horrible experience of applying for a broadband connection with Globe. No need to discuss the details but all I can say is that I will be applying for the disconnection of my Globe landline as soon as possible. Kudos to Smart! Within five working days, they were able to provide my request. Very Smart Bro.
Our place in Cavite is just thirty to forty minutes drive to Tagaytay. Hence, I always make it a point to see this place once in a while. Of course, on top of my list is a visit to the Adoration Convent of Devine Mercy or popularly known as Pink Sisters Convent. This is a solemn and simple place of worship where you can witness and hear angelic voices of nuns singing praises. The nuns are literally dressed in pink. There is a box at the side of the chapel where you can drop a note for your prayer request. After praying and staying for a while inside the chapel, we strolled the sorrounding gardens including the grounds of SVD Retreat House which is just located behind. Trek and Coleen enjoyed the lush greenery, colorful flowers, fresh air and cool weather. Before heading home, we had Japanese lunch at Teriyaki Boy overlooking the famous volcano in Taal lake.
